Denise Hughes is a British illustrator and enthusiastic doodler working from her Hampshire studio. She illustrates children’s picture books and is represented by The Bright Agency. She’s currently expanding her creative practice to include writing her own picture book stories, mostly because sometimes her drawings have far too much to say to stay on the page quietly.

In her spare time Denise enjoys spending time with her family, gardening in the allotment and looking after her menagerie of pets.
