Denise Hughes is a freelance illustrator and obsessive doodler who works from her studio in Hampshire, UK.  She illustrates children’s books and licenses her work for many products including greetings cards, calendars, canvas prints and ceramics. Denise is represented by The Bright Group International.

Denise is happiest when creating a new funny character and can often be overheard giggling whilst drawing. Denise is happy to discuss new licensing opportunities, book illustration and custom projects so feel free to drop her an email!

In her spare time Denise enjoys spending time with her family, gardening in the allotment and looking after her pets.
